Paths to Inner Peace
Inner Guide Meditation
Below you will find a meditation to connect with your Guides. It begins with energising and healing using the colours of the rainbow. This will also cleanse and gently balance your chakras preparing you for the journey ahead.
The room about you begins to fade from view…. Before you stands a column of fiery red light. Step forward into this column and allow it to energise and charge you.
Keep moving… before you now is a column of bright orange light which you step into… feel the orange light flowing through you increasing your creativity and connection with all life.
Step forward now and into the next column, which is of sunny yellow light… Here your divine will and joy in life is strengthened and renewed.
Move on now to a column of emerald green light which opens up your heart to more joy and happiness.
Next we step into a column of lapis blue light… feel this light coursing through and healing you… enabling you to speak your soul’s wisdom.
We next step into a column of deep indigo light… here we learn to sense the truths behind reality… to connect with all that is…
Finally we come before a column of bright white light… here we are healed and made whole on the soul level… feel this light wrapping around and through you as you are drawn down….
A scene begins to form in your mind. You hear the sound of water, of birds flying in the air and you begin to feel the warmth of the sun upon you. A soft breeze caresses your face.
You look around you and see that you are in a small, circular garden. Surrounding the garden are stately oaks, their branches extended as if protecting you. Breathe in the air; allow relaxation to flood through you.
This is your haven, your place of peace. There is a stone seat before you, seemingly carved out of the Earth. Take your seat… feel yourself connecting to the ground beneath you.
As you look around you notice a path that leads down from a distant mountain. The path is lined with stones of every colour and kind.
At the opposite side of the garden, you see this path continue. It leads down to a distant valley where you can see your present home.
You understand that you are at a plateau, an intersection of time and space. Here you can just ‘be’ in the eternal present.
As you sit upon your chair, you see up the path towards the mountain a small golden light, bobbing its way down. It floats its way down towards your sanctuary.
Its light is soft and gentle. As it reaches the outer edge of your haven it stops, a large pulsating crystalline light.
You watch, waiting, but it does not move. Then you realise it seeks your permission to enter. Nothing can enter without your permission.
You slowly stand and take a step forward. You nod your head, acknowledging the light and allowing it to enter, which it does.
The light shimmers. Soft streams of gold stream forth from it, and it begins to unfold. You soon realise that something or someone is inside. Then you see before you a wondrous being! See it. Know that it is real.
Take note of all you experience, see, feel, hear, and smell. Do you feel a touch or tingle in any particular part of your being? Is the being male or female? Trust.
Speak to the being. Ask its name. What is its purpose and why is it with you? How can you work more closely with it? Let the answers come. Ask how best to call on it in the future. Spend some time with this wondrous being….
Now bring the conversation to an end. Ask your guide to verify its reality, perhaps with something that will happen in the near future or some information you need to be aware of. Ask it for a touch, tingle or sensation in your body so that you know they are around.
Thank your guide for coming. The golden light folds up once again around your guide; send it off with thoughts of love.
Here in this sanctuary you can invite your guides into your awareness, one by one.
The garden slowly begins to fade…. And you become again once again of the chair you are sitting on….

I had real fun with this one – can’t wait to do it again….. It’s quite easy to remember too, so you can really concentrate on the details
